All of the following was &#8220;said&#8221; by Calvin:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>That&#8217;s the whole problem with science. You&#8217;ve got a bunch of empiricists trying to describe things of unimaginable wonder.<\/p>\n<p>How can something seem so plausible at the time and so idiotic in retrospect?<\/p>\n<p>Reality continues to ruin my life.<\/p>\n<p>What on earth am I doing here on this beautfiful day?! This is the only life I&#8217;ve got!!<\/p>\n<p>I realized that the purpose of writing is to inflate weak ideas, obscure reasoning, and inhibit clarity.<\/p>\n<p>Once you become informed, you start seeing complexities and shades of gray.
