gallery-caption' id='gallery-1-708'>\n\t\t\t\tDetail einer alten Dampflok\n\t\t\t\t<\/dd><\/dl>\n\t\t\t<br style='clear: both' \/>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>Zu dem Bild mit der Mumie moechte ich noch was schreiben. Wir haben auch einen etwa 700 Jahre alten Friedhof der Lipes besucht, eines Volkes das noch vor den Incas in Suedamerika lebte. Der Friedhof bestand aus vielen kleinen Grabhuegeln, die aus verhaeltnismaessig leichtem vulkanioschem Gestein gebaut waren. Einige Grabhuegel sind schon gepluendert, aber in vielen finden sich noch die Ueberreste der Lipes, die auf Grund der besonderen klimatischen Bedingungen bemerkenswert gut erhalten sind. Teilweise befinden sich noch Kleidungsreste um die Skelette. Bemerkenswert ist, das diese archeaologischen Funde groestenteils einfach an Ort und Stelle, ohne Konservierungs- oder Schutzmassnahmen liegen bleiben. Um die Mumien zu sehen, geht man an einen offenen Grabhuegel heran oder klettet teilweise ansatzweise fast hinien, und das war&#8217;s. Man haette die Skelette anfassen koennen und manch bescheuerter Tourist hat auch schon den einen oder anderen Knochen einfach mitgehen lassen. Solche Zustaende waeren bei uns in Europa natuerlich undenkbar, umso beindruckender war allerdings die Erfahrung.<br \/>\nIm Eingangsbereich zum Friedhof befindet sich eine Lehmhuette, in der allerlei Fundstuecke aus den Grabhuegeln (immerhin teilweise katalogisiert) ausgestellt sind. Wahrend man fuer sowas in Deutschland Glasvitrinen und Sicherheitsvorkerhungen erwarten wuerde, waren hier die Sachen einfach auf\u00c2\u00a0zwei Tische und den Boden\u00c2\u00a0gelegt\/gestapelt: Textilien, Pfeilspitzen, Keramikerzeugnisse, Schmuckstuecke, Werkzeuge&amp;Waffen&#8230; All das konnte man beliebig in die Hand nehmen und eingehend bestaunen (siehe im naechsten Eintrag das Foto mit der Steinaxt!).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hier kommen endlich einige Bilder von der Jeeptour zum Salar de Uyuni.
